Ingredients:
1 Stick Salted Butter
1 Bottle (12 oz.) Franks Original
Hot Sauce
1 teaspoon Ground Red Pepper
Note:
This recipe makes a good amount
of sauce. Enough for 5 or 6 pounds of wings. Adjust recipe
accordingly or refrigerate extra and save for use later.
Preparation:
Place butter in a microwave safe
cup. (A glass measuring cup works great)
Heat butter just until melted. Heat
in about 30 second increments until done.
Add Franks Hot Sauce and ground red
pepper to melted butter.
Stir well with a fork or small
whisk.
Cover loosely with wrap or set a
saucer on top. (It will splatter)
Place back in the microwave, covered,
and heat for one minute.
Stir well.
Place back in microwave and heat in
30 second increments, mixing well between each one until sauce
is hot. It does not need to be boiling hot, just hot so it
mixes well.
It is now ready to pour over wings or
serve on the side.
Sauce can be set aside and reheated
in microwave later if preferred.
