Ingredients:
2 Large cans (29 oz.) Yams or Sweet Potatoes
1
cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 cup melted butter
1-1/2
cups mini marshmallows
1/2 cup pecan chips
Preparation:
Drain
some but not all of the syrup (about half) from the each can of
yams.
Pour both cans of yams into a 13x9 Pyrex baking dish and
spread out evenly.
Slice one stick of butter and place pats evenly over top
of yams.
Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans in a bowl.
Sprinkle mixture evenly on top of yams.
Cover with lid or foil and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
Remove yams from oven, stir and spread out evenly.
Cover and continue baking for 20 to 30 minutes or until
hot and bubbly.
Remove from oven, sprinkle marshmallows evenly on top and
continue baking without a cover for 5 minutes or until the
marshmallows are light golden brown.
